Brijanee enrolled in our Financial Opportunity Center® (FOC) program to regain control of her finances. Despite working full-time, she found herself living paycheck to paycheck and with little savings. She worked with her coach to examine her finances and make a plan for spending, saving, and debt repayment.
In just a year, Bri made consistent monthly payments on her student loan debt, aggressively paying it down, and paying off her back taxes. Throughout this process, she discovered financial strategies that worked for her, finding it easier to manage her finances by splitting large expenses into smaller, bi-monthly payments.
Feeling more confident and organized in her finances carried over into other areas of her life. She received a promotion at work. She opened a savings account, and most recently, a secured credit card. She is now in full control of her finances and increasing her savings.
