In late January, our dedicated member, Quanniece, a single parent of 4 kids, encountered an unexpected hiccup in her housing situation, creating a temporary challenge. However, she swiftly overcame this obstacle with resilience and determination and secured a new place to stay. Since then, this individual has regained stability in her living arrangements and demonstrated remarkable progress in both academic and employment. Quanniece has completed 8% of pharmacy technician training within the first month of gaining access and even secured a job with the Stonebridge company, making $14/hr. It shows that a positive attitude and hard work can make a big difference even when things get tough. We are so proud of our member for bouncing back and progressing in her life! CMCA SkillUP paid $3,937 for Pharmacy Tech training and $100 incentive for obtaining employment. She is also enrolled with our Financial Opportunity Center and has received LIHEAP assistance.
