Audrain County Community Action Teams (CAT)
Audrain County Shelter Resource Coalition (ACSRC)
The Audrain County Shelter Resource Coalition was developed in 2014 to address the needs of homeless individuals and families in the county. Since that time, the coalition has implemented a winter shelter program known as “Room at the Inn” that provides safe housing for those facing homelessness during a 3-month time period during the winter months. The coalition is also focusing on developing and maintaining a permanent 12-month shelter to fill the void created by the lack of a permanent brick and mortar 12-month shelter for families and individuals who are experiencing homelessness/displacement or who are in need of emergency shelter services.
Audrain County Future Workshop Prep
The Audrain County Future Workforce Prep Program is a community-based initiative designed to provide youth, individuals and families the information and knowledge necessary to be successful in the workplace. This intervention program includes school-based strategies, partnership development strategies, and employer strategies.

As a participant, CMCA is investing monitory and non-monetary resources to support the next phase of this project – a class for community members called “Getting Ahead in a Just Gettin’ By World.”
