CMCA facilitates the monthly Callaway Resource Network Meeting to increase networking opportunities among local organizations serving Callaway County.
Maternal Health Coalition
CMCA has a partnership with the Callaway County Health Department on a Maternal Mental Health Coalition to focus on increasing awareness to perinatal mood and anxiety disorder screenings and expanding screenings in the Callaway County.
Safe and Affordable Housing Task Force
CMCA manages the Safe and Affordable Housing Task Force to increase safe and affordable housing opportunities in Callaway County. The task force offers education, advocacy, and development to community leaders and citizens. The task force has provided education about current housing conditions and tenant rights and works with landlords about the benefits of becoming a Housing Choice Voucher landlord. The task force also provides landlord forums, home expos, and poverty simulations.
Local School Support
CMCA partners with local school districts to increase the social and emotional needs of school-age children by providing REALL Simulations and the Photovoice Projects. We also provide poverty simulations for all school district staff and partners.
Community Organizations Active in Disaster
CMCA participates in the Callaway County COAD and leads the Long-Term Recovery Committee with case management, resources and construction coordination to address issues resulting from natural and other disasters.
